Tomorrow (10/26/07) and next Friday (11/2/07) Garrett has two different oncology appointments for their opinions on neuroendocrine cell carcinoid cancer. Thanks to Garrett's nephew, Michael Byrnes, we have a contact in Tampa, Florida at the Moffett Cancer Center with a Dr. Kvols. Dr. Kvols specializes in this type of cancer and is ranked 7th in the world in his field. In the meantime, Mom and Garrett are just trying to educate themselves on this type of cancer.
Thank you all for reading this blog and for your continued support. Our family really appreciates it.

Hello Garrett and Gail. Hand in there. Our hearts and prayers are with you. Love, Maura and Greg
Garrett,
We're thinking about you and your family and wish all of you the best. Keep you head up and remember something as small as a smile can make things seem less threatening.
If you ever need anything, even just an ear or someone to talk shop with pick up the phone and one of us will be there.

Garrett,
I stopped into Riverview on Tuesday and spoke to Jimmy Ely. He sends his best and said, "Garrett's a favorite." That's Jimmy. Short and sweet.
Also Bob Delaney asked me to convey his regards and that he will keep you in his thoughts.
The weather is changing here, leaves are turning and it's looking beautiful. But as you well know it is also time to rake them up. I'll be in touch.
Love ya,
Chance
praying for you Uncle Garrett !
- Kathleen
